These pieces were made during my senior year of high school for AP 3D Art. My concentration focused on the symmetrical, yet contrasting, relationship between roots and stems/flowers in plants. My concentration also focused on breaking the stereotype of crocheting and knitting as only being a craft while also referencing those stereotypes through the creation of flowers (a common object in crochet-work).
